Parexel was named “Best Contract Research Organization” in the Full-Service Provider category at the 19th Annual Scrip Awards. Parexel was selected by a distinguished panel of life science industry executives based on the company’s capabilities and strengths in delivering results to exceed sponsor expectations; innovations in patient engagement and recruitment; commitment to diversity and inclusion in clinical trials and ability to leverage AI and RWE to evolve the clinical development process to better serve patients. The annual Scrip Awards, organized by Citeline, are designed to celebrate and recognize the very best innovations and achievements in global biopharma.

Parexel was recognized with the 2023 Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association’s (HBA) “Advancement. Commitment. Engagement (ACE) Award,” which recognizes companies for their creation and implementation of initiatives that deliver impactful outcomes designed to close the gender gap in the healthcare ecosystem. Parexel was one of two companies chosen as a result of the strong outcomes from its business initiative “Priority: Advancing Women in Leadership.” ACE Award recipients are selected by an independent panel of healthcare industry leaders for their demonstrated efficacy in advancing female talent. Award criteria include measurable results, business performance, stewardship, execution and sustainability.

Parexel was selected as one of the Triangle Business Journal’s Leaders in Diversity award winners for 2023. Parexel was selected for its notable accomplishments in diversity and inclusion, including its gender initiatives, “Discussions on Diversity” report, diversity committee launches and employee DE&I training. The Leaders in Diversity Awards program, now in its 11th year, is designed to recognize the accomplishments of Triangle area businesses, individuals and nonprofits as they come together to weave a diverse foundational fabric into the heart of the local community.

Amy McKee, M.D., Chief Medical Officer and Global Head, Oncology Center of Excellence, was named to the PharmaVoice 100 list of influential people in the life sciences industry. Amy was recognized for her inspirational leadership qualities and commitment to guiding the next generation of industry leaders along with her leadership in creating breakthrough strategies for sponsors. Since its inception in 2005, the PharmaVoice 100 has highlighted outstanding individuals across the industry who serve as sources of inspiration to their teams, companies and communities.

Aida Sabo, SVP, Global DEI, was named a recipient of the 2023 Women in Leadership Executive Impact Award from Linkage. This recognition highlights Aida’s exceptional commitment to advancing women leaders at Parexel and beyond. Linkage presents the Women in Leadership Executive Impact Award annually to recognize executives who have demonstrated a deep commitment to the advancement of women leaders at their organizations, and, through their leadership, have ignited lasting and impactful change for women.

Parexel, one of the world’s largest clinical research organizations (CROs) providing the full range of Phase I to IV clinical development services, today announced it has been awarded the 2023 Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) Eagle Award (CRO category). Parexel received the award at the annual Global Site Solutions Summit held Oct. 6-8 in Hollywood, Fla. The SCRS Eagle Award recognizes the sponsor and CRO committed to outstanding leadership, professionalism, integrity, passion and dedication to advancing the clinical research profession through strong site partnerships.

For the second year in a row, Parexel has received a “silver” rating in the 2023 EcoVadis Sustainability Rating Program. Each year, EcoVadis, the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, measures companies on their environmental, social and ethnical performance based on international standards across four themes (environment, ethics, labor and human rights, sustainability procurement). A silver rating is awarded to organizations with a structured and proactive sustainability approach with strong reporting on KPIs and actions. Parexel has participated in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating Program since 2014.

Parexel has been rated the “Top CRO to Work With” by investigative sites worldwide in the 2023 WCG CenterWatch Global Site Relationship Benchmark Survey. Among the 34 CROs included in the survey, Parexel received the highest average rating across all 26 performance attributes evaluated. In addition to receiving the highest average rating across all attributes, Parexel ranked highest on four out of the five attributes considered the most important to investigative sites and was selected as the CRO that investigative sites were most willing to recommend to a colleague.

Parexel has won four DivHERsity Awards, including “Top 3 Companies by Industry – Pharma/Biotech/Clinical Research,” “Top 20 Companies in DivHERsity – Large Enterprises,” “Top 20 Most Innovative Practices – DivHERsity Policies” and “Top 20 Most Innovative Practices – Women L&D Programs.” The DivHERsity Awards are a celebration of gender diversity in the workplace, recognizing companies that have shown consistent commitment to improving women's participation in the workplace.
